The Sea Eagles are well and truly entrenched inside the top four after a record-breaking win against the Titans at Brookvale oval on Sunday afternoon.
With eight weeks remaining before the finals, the Sea Eagles are beginning to make a charge towards September and are slowly rebuilding their heavyweight status.
Fullback Stewart celebrated a milestone, surpassing immortal Bob Fulton’s try-scoring record of 129 tries for the club as he set up three of his side’s tries for the third week in a row.
Stewart finished with 10 runs (70m), five tackle breaks, one offload, one line break and three line break assists to add as well as having a hand in four of Manly’s tries.
The victory also capped off a memorable day for captain Jamie Lyon, who scored his 100th try in maroon and white.
Lyon made 53 metres in his nine runs, three tackle breaks, 14 tackles, two offloads and a line break.
Forward Jamie Buhrer was instrumental off the interchange bench, producing one of his best performances of the year with 11 runs for 105 metres, a try, a try assist, two tackle breaks, 22 tackles, an offload, a line break and a line break assist.
The Sea Eagles are truly hitting their straps in attack, piling on 122 points in the past three wins, their three highest scores for the season.
