In 2006 the NRL took the Eagles Angels lead and created the Women in League concept and now the Women in League round is regarded as one of the most important of the NRL season.

The Eagles Angels are a unique group of female high achievers. Besides excelling in their chosen fields, they all have one thing in common; their love of Rugby League and their beloved Sea Eagles.
The Eagles Angels, historically led by Wendy Harmer and Sarah Murdoch, have raised the profile and image of the Club, encouraged more female and family connection and have given the Sea Eagles a significant point of difference over their rivals.

The Eagles Angels are the only official women's group in the league - they have their own corporate partnership, Membership, manager and lounge at Brookvale Oval.

The role of the Angels is to promote the Sea Eagles (and their corporate partners), however they also get involved with charities and fundraising to connect with women and families in the local community and beyond.
