Game Development

The Manly Warringah District benefits from having two NRL Game Development Officers working within the district to increase participation in all formats of Rugby League.

The NRL Game Development Officers play a vital role in promoting the game through various participation programs. They also coordinate coaching and sports trainer accreditation courses to ensure that team officials are accredited and compliant with the games policies.

The NRL Game Development Officers conduct extensive recruitment and retention focused programs, which include:

  • League Stars (School/Club Program)
  • School Gala Days
  • Community Carnivals in conjunction with the Sea Eagles
  • Primary School PSSA competitions
  • High School knockout & weekly competitions
  • Coach & Sports Trainer Accreditation Courses
  • Coach Development Program which offers support to junior league coaches
  • Beyond the Goalposts (High School Student Accreditations)
  • Sporting Schools Programs
